Let Your Light Shine for Legacy!

When we shine our light, we make it easier for others to find their way.

I am honored to have been selected as a candidate for the Kentucky State University National Alumni Association's 40 Under 40 Society, a recognition that celebrates alumni who are making meaningful contributions in their professions and communities. As part of this honor, each candidate is challenged to raise scholarship funds that will help support the next generation of Kentucky State University students.

As a proud member of the Class of 2008, Kentucky State University helped shape the leader, educator, advocate, and community builder I am today. The opportunities I received through my HBCU experience continue to impact my life, and I am passionate about helping future students access those same opportunities.

For this fundraiser, I wanted to partner with my beautiful Sister, NeTeah Hatchett, whose work reflects the values of community, creativity, and purpose. That's why I've teamed up with Anchored in the Waves, a Black woman-owned small business dedicated to creating beautiful handcrafted products that bring God, warmth and intention into everyday spaces. Together, we are offering a special pre-order of the "Let Your Light Shine" wax melts, fragrance mists, and wickless candles.

How It Works
Pre-order your "Let Your Light Shine" wax melt (1.5oz) + fragrance mist (3.5oz) bundle for $20 or 8oz wickless candle for $24. Shipping for all pre-orders will begin 7 business days following the close of my campaign (insert date) 

40% of all proceeds will be used to support my 40 Under 40 scholarship fundraising campaign for Kentucky State University students.

Your purchase allows us to support two meaningful causes at once: empowering a small business owner and helping future scholars pursue their dreams.
